I live in California, in the Central Valley, married to Dennis Barbour, a classic car enthusiast. My photography started by taking family pictures of my two children.
To increase my knowledge in black & white and color photograpy, I have taken drawing, watercolor and photography classes, workshops and worked as a lab technician. After taking classes, I decided to express myself through photography. I have special interests in landscapes, especially the coast and the sierra, still life and helping family and friends. My prints are from 35mm color, infrared, and black and white film; medium format, 120 color film and digitial. I work in a color and black and white digital darkroom using a scanner, computer with photoshop and an Epson Stylus Pro 4900 printer. Also, this digital darkroom is set up to be used as a wet color darkroom using an Omega, Super Chromega D Dichroic, enlarger and Jobo for processing photos.
